Feathertop Château is breathtakingly beautiful. Situated one hour drive from the snow fields of Falls Creek and Mt Hotham and a short helicopter flight from Melbourne, this luxury estate provides its guests with a bespoke winery experience and the chance to become their very own local wine makers!

As with the wines produced, the property expresses an appreciation of both elegance and nature’s raw beauty due to its contemporary design, utilising modern and natural materials of steel and stone. The home offers an unparalleled convergence of luxury and nature, overlooking a beautiful Winery.

The house comfortably accommodates ten people in absolute luxury. The property commands majestic views across the expansive vineyard, past native bushland to the commanding Victorian Alps and beyond. Offering a sanctuary for contemplation and an exciting space for entertaining.

Fearthertop Château is adjacent to its well maintained vineyard home of over 21 grape varieties over 60 acres. Offering a range of winery experiences including wine education, winemaker tastings or even hands on winemaking and vineyard activities. Experiences could also include culinary or wellness activities. On request, catering capabilities ensure any dining preference, from picnic hampers to fine dining degustation. The fully stocked wine cellar houses current vintages of Estate wine and a sommelier is available to assist with selection and food pairing.

For the adventurous, Victoria’s High Country offers a diversity of nature based activities such skiing, hiking, fishing, canoeing, horse riding and cycling. To the north of the property is a state forest within 3 km is the Mt Buffalo National Park. Perfect for bush walking and exploring, with extensive walking tracks and outdoor experiences.

Feathertop Château enjoys established relationships with the region’s best hospitality operators along with leading adventure, health and well-being providers, coupled with local knowledge this will ensure extraordinary service and quality. Cellar door is open 7 days a week. Cafe and restaurant open Thursday to Monday. Local produce available 7 days a week. Wine tasting and private tours for Luxe Houses guests are available 7 days.

Access to Feathertop Château is via road with helipad and airstrip in close proximity (Porepunkah or Albury). From Melbourne allow 3.5 hours by car or 1 hr from Albury connecting with air transfer. Helicopter transfers can be organised from Melbourne, Albury or to and from the ski fields.

Feathertop Winery is situated within the geographical indicator (GI) of the Alpine Valleys. The greater region is known as the North East Valleys. The region is well known for its extensive diversity of food and wine varieties. Extending from Victoria's snowfields to the Murray River, covering the Alpine Valleys, Beechworth, Glenrowan, King Valley and Rutherglen wine regions, this system of Mountains, Valleys and rivers sets the scene for an inspirational food and wine experience.

RATES & INCLUSIONS

Feathertop Chateau is priced at $2,800 per night and has a 7 night minimum stay. A fabulous local hamper is included with every booking full of Feathertop wines and local cheeses.
